LE TIGRR has found sanctuary in the Luberon and has made its home at Airelles Gordes, La Bastide. Perched on the edge of the village, it offers a panoramic view of the entire valley and the Alpilles. This new location for the legendary Asian restaurant opened its doors in July 2019.

LE TIGRR Gordes, a new local staple

Already a legendary name in Saint-Tropez and Megève, this new restaurant is located high up in the village of Gordes, backing onto La Bastide and overlooking the Luberon. The atmosphere of this bar-restaurant evolves throughout the evening and promises faraway gourmet escapes. For an early evening drink overlooking the valley as the sun begins to set, dinner with friends or family, or to continue the evening, Le TIGrr de la Bastide de Gordes will be without a doubt the most picturesque address in the region.

Asian inspirations

To create an Asian ambiance in harmony with the atmosphere of La Bastide de Gordes, the creator of the concept, Jérôme Foucaud and the designer Philippe Di Meo and the decorator Astrid Maillet-Contoz worked hard to design the spaces in collaboration with fellow architect Christophe Tollemer. The end result? Asian consonance meets palatial inspirations. From the terrace to the garden, private lounge, table d’hôtes, lively bar, benches, or even a cosy nook, the mellow lighting gives diners an ethereal experience.

Spread over two floors, the dining rooms and private lounge combine local materials and know-how with finesse. All of LE TIGRR’s signature elements come together in the form of unique pieces of furniture, engraved chopsticks, black linen on the tables and subdued lighting.

A meeting of flavours

As soon as you enter, the cocktail bar calls out to you. Take a seat and choose from a beautiful selection of prestigious champagnes, a wide choice of classic wines, a delicious variety of Luberon and Ventoux wines, as well as a selection of signature cocktails.

Inspired by Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine, you’ll find a true taste of Asia on the restaurant’s beautifully compiled menu.

The restaurant menu unveils an exquisite cuisine composed of rigorously selected products for LE TIGRR in Gordes and reveals not only timeless dishes such as spring rolls, dim-sum and sushi, but also Mediterranean specialities with a unique twist, such as a Thai bouillabaisse or gilthead bream wrapped in banana leaves.

In keeping with the theme, a subtle pinch of red curry gives a Thai twist to the tuna skewers. Into the evening, the DJ offers a special musical program tailored to the clientele and based on inspirations from funk, house, disco and rock classics… creating a smooth and rhythmic cocoon for the guests.
